Gary Pegues

Gary Pegues has been directly involved with the SpeedTracs team since 2008. He is a Florida native, graduate and former football player at LSU. Sports and athletic development have always been an intrinsic part of his life having played 4 sports in high school and devoting his attention to making athletes better.

He holds a B.S. in Kinesiology, a minor in Health Science with concentration in Biomechanics & Human Physiology. His academic honors at LSU include the U.S. Achievement Academy All-American Scholar Award, Academic All-Southeastern Conference, Director’s Cup Award, Hitachi Promise of Tomorrow Award, & LSU’s Dean’s List. Gary was also a graduate assistant on LSU’s football team assisting in the development of LSU’s wide receivers as well as all phases of Special Teams.

After graduating from LSU, he spent 17 years in high school athletics as a Strength & Speed Coach, and coaching Football, Track & Field, and Soccer. As Director of Strength & Speed, he assisted in winning State Championships in 3 different sports…Baseball, Track and Soccer.

He has extensive experience in the athletic performance space and has spoken at both Nike and Glazier clinics respectively on strength and speed development for athletes. Gary currently serves as the General Manager for SpeedTracs where he continues to build and work with all aspects of the company as well as maintaining industry relationships and partners.

Away from SpeedTracs, Gary can be found spending time with his beautiful wife Debbie and his kids Alexis and Dylan. He enjoys all aspects of fitness and creating memorable experiences for his family.
